2011 Guildford Painting Competition
Saturday 30 July - Saturday 20 August 2011The 6th annual Guildford Painting Competition once again came to Otters Pool Studio, this year with a theme of "Buildings in the Borough" and sponsored by Guildford Borough Council. On display were nearly 40 of the entries showing Guildford Borough at its best, including images of the Cathedral, High Street, and some more obscure locations that most Guildfordians will recognise. The winner was Jo Quigley, with her picture 'Cathedral View', shown on the right, who received a generous prize package including a 4 week artists residency. |  |
