May 27th - June 19th The 2010 Surrey Artists Open Studios saw around 450 Surrey artists open their studios to the public between the 5th and 20th of June in what was the 10th anniversary year of the Open Studios event in Surrey.
As a taster of what could be seen in the West half of the county during the event, we hosted the West Surrey Taster Exhibition and displayed work by many of the participating artists.
Included were Jo Quigley's evocative seaside scenes, Jan Bastows colourful suspended sculptres, and colourful photographs by Peter Rodgers, all of which gave a hint as to what was on display in these artists own studios.
This taster exhibition ran from 25th May, nearly 2 weeks before the Open Studios starts, allowing a sneak preview of what was on offer.
